Still grieving and unable to come to terms with the mysterious loss of her sister, Lydia returns home one night only to find out that the front door is unlocked and slightly open. As the terrified woman enters her home cautiously, everything seems to be in order, nevertheless, an ominous feeling that a pair of eyes is watching her every move, makes her skin crawl. Sometimes, the mind can play awful tricks on one when he is in the thick, black shadows, although, there is no need to worry; after all, the dead stay with the dead, right? Written by Nick Riganas
I have a weakness for horror shorts, it doesn't take a vast amount to entertain me so when one fails to accomplish that there is clearly something wrong.
This multi-award winning piece is just such a short, it has 30 tense seconds and 10 minutes of fluff and boredom.
It's difficult to establish any sort of story or character development in a short but here they don't seem to even try.
The entire thing is a clichéd generic jump fest which fails to be scary and hits you with an entirely predicted finale.
The Good:
One tense moment
The Bad:
Really quite boring
Weak ending
Things I Learnt From This Movie:
That not all horror shorts are even remotely watchable
