Alper is a young Turk living in Berlin, Germany. He is unsuccessfully trying to become an actor. He has big dreams of movie roles but is offered nothing but Kebab vendors or gangster roles. But not even these cliché roles, he can land. He doesn't even have a demo tape. One evening he meets beautiful art-enthusiast Sophie by accident. Although Sophie is not interested in Alper, she needs an Italian for a video project for her application to the art academy. Alper is interested in Sophie and in dire need of a demo tape. He sees his chance and from now on pretends to be an Italian. Alper turns into Alberto. What Alper doesn't know, Sophie doesn't like Turks at all and thinks little of Alper. When Sophie decides to cast Alberto for her art academy project, that's where the laughter begins and romance starts to blossom.
In Deutschland leben 650.000 Italiener. Einer davon ist Türke.
