In London, it is the long, stultifying, dog days of summer. Under a low-hanging star, the city swelters in the stifling heat. Miranda (Melanie Gray), is bored, trapped in a city job; Carlton (Ivanno Jeremiah), younger, from another kind of London entirely, is equally frustrated. A city this big is many cities: very different lives are lived on the same streets. But things begin to slip in the heat and the two are drawn together, both finding beauty in the unlikeliest place. As a consequence, or perhaps influenced by the on-looking star, they agree to take a chance on each other go for a swim in Hampstead's bathing ponds. But can the passion last? A love letter to London, Dog Days evokes the sensation of one blotting paper-soft night in the city - and asks if one chance is all you need to change your life.
