Having been fired from her old job as a real estate agent, 40 years old Constance thinks her former boss will hire her in a vacancy, but he chooses a younger and prettier woman. Constance can't take that and starts her stalking.
Having been fired from her old job as a real estate agent, 40 years old Constance faces severe pecuniary issues : she cannot rent a flat anymore and she doesn't find another job in Paris. With no other option left, she decides to call her former boss, from the small agency in La Rochelle where she started her career : to her surprise, he tells her that he is actually hiring, as the housing market appears to be growing in the area. He explains that he already found someone, but she is convinced she will get the job because of her experience and extensive qualifications. She does not : it is indeed Audrey, a younger and prettier woman, which is hired instead. This is too much for Constance to take...
Marina Foïs is here totally insane, crazy, lunatic at the possible. A twisted woman in a sort of a version of FATAL ATTRACTION or PLAY MISTY FOR ME, where Foïs would be Glenn Close or Jessica Harper. For those who know these two classics. Foïs plays a disturbed gal who harasses men and then stops at nothing, even to criminal act, to succeed in her goal. Marina Foïs is absolutely outstanding in this crime drama. You may be disturbed in many scenes here, be careful. You also have an unexpected ending. One of the characters look really like Benicio Del Torro. One of the men harassed by Foïs
A good feature.
