| Trivia | This is the first film that Annette Bening and Michelle Pfeiffer have starred in together. Bening was originally cast as Catwoman in Tim Burton's 'Batman Returns' (1992), but bowed out due to her pregnancy with her first child. Pfeiffer replaced her in the iconic role. Similarly, Pfeiffer was considered for Bening's role in Barry Levinson's 'Bugsy' (1991). They both starred in adaptations of Dangerous Liaisons, with Pfeiffer's adaptation -- Stephen Frears's 'Dangerous Liaisons' (1988) -- being the most successful. Bening's version is 1989's 'Valmont'.
