After a humiliating commando performance at The Kennedy Center, the Barden Bellas enter an international competition that no American group has ever won in order to regain their status and right to perform.
Beca, a freshman at Barden University, is cajoled into joining The Bellas, her school's all-girls singing group. Injecting some much needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas take on their male rivals in a campus competition.
After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren't job prospects for making music with your mouth. But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.
There was a rumor that Anna Kendrick (Becca) and Brittany Snow (Chloe) were pushing for a romantic angle between their respective characters, which had a surprising fan following (Bechloe) since the second movie, and Universal was against the idea. Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) has alluded to this, but none of the cast nor Universal have publicly and explicitly addressed it. See more »

I thoroughly enjoyed PP1 and PP2. Like overly enjoyed it. This movie was so stupid its unbelievable. Don't waste your time. Whoever wrote this embarrassment of a movie should never work in showbusiness again. They tried to turn the original pitch perfect formula into some sort of action movie that's just so silly. Literally, Sharknado is a better movie in every respect compared to this.
