Storyline

Although she knows that they are no longer married, Shelly, feeling a reconnection with who was her husband, begins to feel neglected by Maura. Maura begins to think about her sexual life as she starts hormone treatments and is asked by her physician about her thoughts as to ever undergoing sexual reassignment surgery. That issue is highlighted as she has an encounter with Cynthia, a woman she meets at a restaurant bar. Sarah continues to feel overwhelmed especially as the kids' school undergoes Spirit Week, culminating with an evening gala. Things get worse and worse for her as the week progresses, leading to her being prone to falling back into old habits. Now that Colton has moved in with Josh and Raquel, Josh, because of a comment by Colton, believes they as a collective should include Rita into their lives. This move may not sit well with Raquel. And Ali, with Syd by her side, decides to visit her maternal grandmother Rose, who she has not seen in quite some time. Written by Huggo
