A good little fun treat
25 October 2015 | by natashabransonSee all my reviews

Now I liked CHARLIE from these guys and was looking forward to seeing their next horror, now it's out I've given it a watch and here I am giving it a review... It's pretty damn good! I actually expected a bit more of a tongue in cheek horror than the previous but it's actually pretty creepy. I never thought teddy bears could creep me out as much as this.

The first half had just the eerie creepiness of the first film with some similar beats I admit but they worked well! The second half took a very different turn to CHARLIE, where that one got smaller and almost more subtle by the end, this one grows to a bigger ending that turns to a very old school feeling slasher. I genuinely found myself thinking 'run! run!'.

and to hear the teddy bears picnic used in such a horrific context just messed with my childhood so yeah... THANKS FOR THAT!

all in all, I loved it. These guys can do better though... but that may just be a budget thing, lets see what they have coming in the future.
