Sex & Nudity

  • The majority of the female characters spend the entire film in volleyball kit, so there are bare thighs and tight shorts throughout. Another female is only in her underwear. There are strong sexual references throughout, including discussion of sexual activity (gay and straight). Several characters are seen with their shorts below their knees as they pee. Characters imitate cunnilingus.

Violence & Gore

  • Plenty of violence and gore. The bad guys are a bunch of grotesques, while the female volleyball team win their match when one player uses another as a springboard to gain height in a jump, bloodying her nose.
  • Victims are shot, stabbed, hit with volleyballs, killed with a captive bolt gun (as in No Country For Old Men), bitten by a dog, run over with a car, beheaded, and battered with a rock, as well as dozens of punches and kicks.
  • A deliciously damaged hand starts the carnage, and it continues with severed heads and suggested cannibalism. There is also a limited amount of animal cruelty, played for laughs. Stay away if you are easily offended, revel in if you are not.

  • Fuck and cunt both feature frequently in the dubbed version on Netflix. There are many anatomically descriptive words, and two female characters describe being urinated on in graphic terms. Probably not best for children or those easily offended. There is also a short section that seems to mock one strand of Christianity.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Very infrequent. I only remember one character smoking (I don't take notes). Some people drink, but in negligible quantities.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • It is a 'young people in peril' film. Expect frightening and intense scenes, and some animal mistreatment.
