Looks nice but very shallow
2 February 2017 | by See all my reviews

Terrible writing and passionless acting made this very promising series a big disappointment. Filled with stereotyping and cliche's. Story has no depth and it's too simplistic making it all very unbelievable. An insanely rushed story taking out any suspension.. You can't really blame the actors, a script like that is impossible to make believable. It feels more like a video game then a TV series, and the game is set to very easy.

The setting is nice and feels real (though I am no historian) but it all feels very small (instant travel times and small scale decors)

The series is OK if you want easy to watch quick entertainment, but if you like depth, story and character development this is not what you are looking for.
