This is the short description about this movie, written on IMDB: "A haunted young woman spirals in the wake of profound loss, torn between her fractured emotional state and the reality-altering effects of a potent cannabinoid drug."
That's EXACTLY what I feel happened to the writers of the story of this movie, they (Mulleavy sisters, as writers and directors) were under heavy side effects illusions of smoking something "chemical-laboratory-made". Or maybe it was something pure!, a natural hand picked! Whatever they smoked, was not good at all, at least for us, viewers. Maybe for understanding this movie, we need to have access to the exact material they smoked! Because with clean brain, I didn't get anything.
Writers and directors are two sisters that on their resumes on IMDB is just: Ballet Costumes Designers for Black Swan movie. Their second experience was this movie! "Woodshock".
So, when Ballet Costumes Designers make a movie, this the result!
$5 million spent for this? 2 locations and 4-5 actors? really? ok, good stuff you smoked! for me it looks like money-laundry in the name of creating movie.
