Siblings Jack and Tessie's journey from their less-than-cool middle school beginnings to the start of their music careers as they put together a band of like-minded musicians, all considered outsiders by fellow classmates.
This show defies that you have to go over the top to entertain and gives the audience real situations that every kid faces at some time or another. The show is incredibly well written with jokes that don't hit you over the head but allow you to get the punchline on your own. The direction is natural and real just like our own kids. Adding Henry Rollins of Black Flag, Bethany Consentino of Best Coast, Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, James Iha of Smashing Pumpkins and A Perfect Circle and Hutch Hutchins from The Thermals to the cast adds to the music credibility of these talented young musicians. This show is a real gem. It not only will appeal to the kids but give parents something to watch with their children.
