The Princess is an American and when Olivia sees her, she appears to be unhappy. Later the Princess is killed in what appears to be an accident. Olivia is hired by the family to make sure nothing bad comes out. But during her work she learns that the accident may not have been an accident and asks Rosen to look into it. Fitz is worried how this will affect the negotiations for the base. Mellie wants Fitz at her swearing in ceremony but he says no and he also tells her he wants a divorce. Sally Langston: [monologuing on her TV show] Lovers of Liberty, good evening. Tonight, I come to you filled with the righteous indignation of a true American. Tonight, my flag waves and my patriotic fires burn, because tonight, over in the White House, the man who calls himself our president, is throwing a party. Really!!!! I was waiting with great anticipation for the new season. Very disappointed and bemused. A pathetic script and story line, really need to have strong words with your writers. Princess, car crash, tunnel, nasty queen with very bad English accent, couldn't believe the heir & spare line, a dumb prince, paparazzi. This episode cheapened Scandal for me and destroyed the credibility of the series. What next story lines based on Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White ??? You will have to do much better! I have a feeling the cast are just becoming caricatures with no substance, still it made me laugh so bring on the next episode .
