A body is found and when they check it out, they can't help but see that the mo resembles that of a serial killer who was active 20 years ago. And the victim's girlfriend is missing another mo of the killer and if he follows suit the girlfriend will be killed in less than 12 hours. Thing is that the killer was caught and killed, so they assume they have a copy cat. Jake gets Hauser released to help them because he worked the original case and he is sure that the man who was killed is the killer. But a man who's fascinated with the case, says that the man who was killed didn't fit some the criteria they had on the killer. And it all checks out, so did they kill the wrong the man. Hauser is sure they did. But Laura says the main concern is finding the girl.
Did You Know?
Laura asks for a routing number but no account number. To transfer funds electronically, both are needed. in addition, routing numbers are 9 digits and the number given by the villain is 15 digits. (If it had been a routing number and an account number, Chun would have broken the number in a different place than he did when reciting it.) See more
