Phineas: [singing] Get out your tool case, put on your game face. Get out the brushes, gonna paint this town. Let's just get rockin', no time for talkin'. Just fourteen hours 'till the sun goes down. We've got one last day of summer, one more day before school has begun. One last day in the sun, let's have some serious fun. Every day of summer, we've given a hundred percent. Funny storyline, whole episode could've been better
15 June 2015 | by pmcbride-52463See all my reviews

I loved the episode in terms of the storyline, as Groundhog Day is one of my favorite movies of all time. This episode was easily the funniest episode of the show for me. However, I kind of expected the creators to go all in for this episode, something along the lines of Summer Belongs to You. I thought the songs in that episode were fantastic, and the plot was great. However, with this episode, the songs were below average. Normally in Phineas and Ferb special episodes, there is one song that is, for lack of a better word, remembered more than other ones, such as the song Summer Belongs to You. In this episode however, a lot of the songs were solid, but not spectacular.

Overall, it was a good episode and I'm glad the creators used the Groundhog Day plot. However, this episode felt like a typical day in the summer for Phineas and Ferb. I thought an episode like Summer Belongs to You would've been a much better series finale due to it being a more complete episode. Other than that, the episode is definitely worth a watch to bid adieu to one of the better shows of this generation.
