Goofs

One of the kidnappers asks Robbie if he likes chips and gives him a bag of fried thin slices of potato. These are called "crisps" by the British (Robbie is British) and by nearly all of English-speaking Europe. What they call "chips" is fried thicker pieces of potato that are usually soft on the inside (what Americans call "fries"). See more »

Quotes

Michel Dorn: CLV is a dramatic beast. You hemorrhage, blood comes pouring out of your eyes, out of your pores, and then very quickly, you die. What did the press say? If it bleeds, it leads.

A Dangerous Disease
19 June 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

This is an episode where the threat of a pandemic is at the center. When a man dies in a marketplace, he is carrying an Ebola like disease. This leads to efforts to try to deal with this reality and prevent panic from hitting Croatia. In the middle of all this is the kidnapping of a small boy whose father (one of those who is ill) is trying to appease the kidnappers by bringing 50,000 Euros to the bad guys. There are also circumstances that get in the way which are typical ploys of kidnappers in fictional efforts. I'd be interested in doing a little investigation of this particular disease. It is so dangerous and yet some seem to be rather blasé about the whole thing. We are creeping to the end of this series.
