Trivia

In June 2013, two Inuit friends of the explorer Nicolas Dubreuil, Ole Eliassen and Adam Eskilden visited Paris. Actors Thomas Blanchard and Thomas Scimeca showed the visitors around town. This inspired director Sébastien Betbeder to create a short film Inupiluk. Two years later Ole and Adam invited the two Thomases to come to their home town in Greenland, which inspired Sébastien Betbeder to create the full-feature film Journey to Greenland. See more »

A very moving experience
11 September 2018 | by ana-furphySee all my reviews

I have been recently in Greenland. The movie brought me recent memories and the respect for the Inuits. The impressive whiteness and the majestic immensity of the ice and the blue sky and the small community make me feel humble. The performances are natural and believable. The son and his friend are very French and simple but sophisticated. The father is fantastic and the magnificent beauty from Greenland is merely wonderful. Susana
