an interesting cinematic glance on Haifa
19 October 2018 | by osinaiSee all my reviews

"Hayored Lema'ala" or as it was translated to English - "Afterthought" is a one of a kind movie, from the moment it starts it is already very different than anything else you had probably seen - quite a complex and an impressive shot showing Haifa from a crane.

The two main characters of the movie seem to be in search for something as they go up and down the city, the question is will they find a resolution to their conflicts. The movie presents their thoughts and deliberations, the perception of our times and the city Haifa at its most authenticity and also love for walking.

Even though it is categorized as Drama for me it also felt in some parts of the movie like a comedy, the movie which is greatly written has a witty sense of humor and brings up an important subject to our awareness. It is noticeable that it has been made with much love to the city of Haifa and for people in general.
