Did You Know?
Frank Stringfellow became an Episcopal priest after the Civil War and became the first chaplain at Woodberry Forest School. The school was founded by Frank's cousin Captain Robert Stringfellow Walker who served in the Confederate Army under Colonel John S. Mosby. His great grandson Frank Stringfellow is a professor of English at the University of Miami and is a graduate of Woodberry Forest. See more
