Didn't expect to like it as much as I did

Li Er (Chen Duling) is a 17-year old who has a crush on popular high school mate Xu Yi (Yang Yang). High-achiever Xu Yi is seduced by wild girl Li Bala who leads him down the wanton way per instigation of her crush Zhang Yang (Oho Ou), out to exact revenge against his half-brother Xu Yi. Zhang Yang's revenge affects the lives of these four people and their friends.

This coming-of-age story is well told and acted. Li Er is deaf in her left ear but manages to overcome this obstacle by using her heart.
