Storyline

Goofs

Castle is able to determine that the 13M wristwatch is a fake due to the actual watch supposedly being a self-wind, and the fake having a stem and crown. A self wind analog watch contains a weighted wheel which moves as does the users wrist, and this winds the watch. (A quartz movement watch contains a battery.) However, both types of watch have a stem and crown to set the hands. Therefore, the stem on the watch would not indicate its authenticity or not.
