As Nottingham is a city full of horses, the film's production also required a number of well-trained horses able to negotiate tight turns. The trainer Laszlo Juhász oversaw a team of more than 70 horses, including a magnificent Black Fresian ridden by the Sheriff of Nottingham and the "Castano" of Robin Hood, a 13-year-old Purebred Spanish (PRE), a breed known for its elegance, intelligence and lush mane. In South Africa the film was edited in theaters for a 13 rating (after the uncut version was classified 16). The film was later released on uncut on DVD with a 13 rating as the violence was deemed to have less impact outside of a theatrical context. See more »
It's not funny, it's not witty, just another rehash of a film done over and over with updated special effects (although some moments are questionable).
Don't waste your time unless you want to have your ticket money stolen from you!
