When filming in Dubrovnik (Croatia), Jamie Foxx was having dinner with his friends when two drunk locals approached his table and started throwing racial insults at him. The restaurant manager came, threw the men out and called the police and the two men ended up in jail. Robin and his bowmen are shown using their bows and arrows in the same manner as modern battlefield rifles. This is incorrect.
A bow and arrow is a standoff weapon, meaning that they would fire from out range of melee weapons or from concealment from opposing bowmen. They wouldn't stalk their opponents as they wouldn't be able to deploy their weapons quickly enough. See more »

Ok so Taron Egerton and Ben Mendelsohn are my favorite things about this! There's some sweet action which is also part of the problem, it felt like a Michael Bay film, too much 'oh lets just blow so much stuff up' and lack of good story. Ben Mendelsohn is one of my favorite actors, because of Place Beyond the Pines, Bloodline, Ready Player one, and a few other things so he's a benefit to this. I was barely into this movie, I'd just recommend the older Robin Hood's.
