Storyline

No parent should have to bury their child, but that was the reality that Dick and Josephine Weil faced when their adopted son Gabe was diagnosed with Duchenne's muscular dystrophy. Incredibly heartfelt, funny and inspiring

"Gabe" is an amazing documentary about a young man named Gabe, who at a very young age was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The film is also about his close relationship with the Director of the film, Luke Terrell. Luke and Gabe have a beautiful and organic friendship that is genuine and inspiring. This is Luke's first feature documentary and I can't wait to see what he does next because he is an incredibly talented and compassionate storyteller.
