Sex & Nudity

  • A few references
  • Child (elementary school aged) casually tells an elementary aged girl that he thinks an adult is trying to bone her mother. Not an appropriate conversation for a child to be having with another so is disturbing.

  • In one brief instance, an adult casually suggests to a parent that her child could take up pole dancing as an activity.
  • A teenage boy sneaks a peak at a teenage girl changing; only a small part of her back is shown and the strap of her bra.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is torn in half vertically. You see blood as he is torn in half, but it does not spray as one might be used to in many other films, so it is easy to miss.
  • Only one sequence of violence but everything else in the film has no violent material at all except for some supernatural elements.
  • A man gets brutally ripped in half vertically
  • A man is torn to death by a clawed creature. Very brief.

  • In the song "Haunted House" by McKenna Grace has the term "screwed" in the lyrics.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • On a date, a man and women are shown at the restaurant having an alcoholic drink at the table.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • It is suggested that some of the servile ghosts need to "unite" to further the plans of the head evil ghost. An elementary-aged child explains that this means that two of the adult main characters will need to go to "third base," a reference to having sexual contact.
