The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Miles hits a young boy in his class with a wrench, but this only goes on for a few seconds.
  • Miles stabs his father while he is driving a car, and they crash into a tree
  • A man and his son end up in a car accident. The next scenes how's them at the hospital. The father sustained severe injuries whereas the son only suffered minor injuries.
  • A boy kills the family dog; although the action is not shown, further in the film flies start to appear and the mother follows the source of flies to reveal the dead dog. This could be very uneasy for most viewers.
  • The family dog is killed
  • Dog carcass is shown.
  • A man and his son get into a car accident. The next scene cuts to the hospital where it shows that the man sustained serious injuries, however the son only suffered minor injuries.
  • A woman is shot at the end of the film with some blood.

  • The child is, in lack of a better word, possessed by a serial killer, so he does use some foul language (it is all voice acting, though. the young actor is not saying these things.) He tells his mother to "go f*ck yourself." He blackmails a psychiatrist saying he put his c*ck in his mouth when he didn't. Some other words scattered throughout like some damns, hells and a few uses of sh*t.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A dog is killed offscreen. Its corpse is discovered later on in the film.
  • A young boy makes some dark statements to his father about his father's abusive childhood.
  • When the soul inside Miles' threatens the therapist with a rape claim, it is extremely uncomfortable & intense to hear a young boy describing a fake sexual encounter so threateningly & graphically.
  • A boy is playing with a runic cube and when he turns around a old mans face replaces that. The scene only lasts a few seconds. Can be difficult for people with heart problems.
