Despite Condorito being a famous Chilean comic book character, in this movie he is voiced by Mexican actor Omar Chaparro, who has a distinctive Mexican accent.

Condorito was created by René Rios Boettiger (Aka. Pepo) in August 6, 1949. He came up with this character after watching the 1942 Walt Disney animated film Saludos Amigos (1942). René Rios passed away in 2000.

Two versions of this movie exist. One with the voice acting done in Chile for Chilean audiences, and one with voice acting done in Mexico for Latin American audiences outside Chile. Of all the actors, Cristián de la Fuente and Coco Legrand are the only ones who voice their respective characters in both versions of the film.
