In a Scottish town in 1974, factory workers refuse to carry out repairs on warplane engines in an act of solidarity against the violent military coup in Chile. Four years pass before the engines, left to rust in factory yard, mysteriously disappear in the middle of the night.
This excellent film will ensure this powerful, up-lifting story of workers' solidarity will be never be forgotten. One principled, good man in East Kilbride said "No" to what he was being asked to do. The story is told by the retired Rolls Royce shop stewards themselves, all great storytellers, which makes the film all the more powerful. You'll likely shed a tear watching this one.
