Less than the sum of its parts
Dean going full dark and taking on the Stynes is endlessly watchable. I even like the writers fleshing out some internal Styne family drama. I think the episode threads a needle with Dean going nuts while not making him completely unlikeable. They get close to crossing a line with Dean's final cactions but there's just enough text to keep allow for a just desserts reading.
Likewise, the finale of the Crowley section of the episode is peak Crowley but for whatever reason I don't feel like this episode goes anywhere new and feels a bit of rehash of the first couple of episodes of the season.
