Goofs

There is a running joke throughout the film that Scott is bad at math and has a fear of numbers to the point where he has trouble with basic math and freaks out whenever another character uses numbers. However, in one of the very first scenes while touring Bucknell he tells Alex that you should drink one bottle of water for every bottle of beer and equates a 6 pack of beer to 6 bottles of water. In another scene, Scott mistakes a 401K account for $401,000 which means he can equate the letter "K" to equal thousand and equates 401K to 401,000. He also uses the term "86" in another scene - a term someone who has a fear of numbers, would be less than likely to use. See more »

Terrible, Awful Film...and I am a Will Farrell fan!
2 July 2017 | by TheTruthDoorSee all my reviews

Don't believe the positive reviews about "The House", they are bought and paid for reviews.

The House is a god awful, terrible film. It has absolutely nothing going for it. The acting is bad, the plot is terrible.

Nobody laughed during the entire film....nobody.

I am a Will Ferrell fan and I like Amy Poehler, I like them both but I just cannot lie to you about this film.

It is so bad that it may ruin both of their acting careers.....it is that bad.

Whew....it stinks.
