Episode 2.4
13 March 2017 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

It is the Halloween school dance, Errol and Andy turn up dressed as The Blues Brothers, a popular cult film from the early 1980s which spawned a not very good sequel. However no one can figure who they are dressed up as except Ryan, a fellow teacher and boyfriend on Melodie. In fact Ryan and Andy seem to have similar tastes in music as well as both fancying Melodie.

Alfie the obnoxious bully whose birthday party was ruined by Andy has locked Melodie and Andy in a storeroom where they chat and later kissed and caught by Ryan. This is after being told earlier on by Shelley, the older bit on the side that she is pregnant.

Alfie also after playing a spin the bottle game tries to stop Errol kissing Ruby who both rather like.

Although hinted at in previous episodes, Sam has been in a relationship with Bruce which has come out in the open as Bruce's ex makes an appearance at the party.

An enjoyable episode of a series that has hit its stride, mixing Andy's uncouthness with some 1980s coolness.
