Quotes

Captain Flint: Well, I wasn't there, but, um, I can hazard the guess that you have learned of what had happened, told him how fucking stupid he was, and in that moment, he gave you a look that meant something less than contrite. And in that moment you felt it.
John Silver: Felt what?
Captain Flint: Darkness, hate, showing indifference to the authority that you sacrificed so much to acquire, disdain for refusing to acknowledge that his actions, had you not intervened, would have let to an outcome that he would have held you responsible for...

The bar is set...

Amazing series! This episode was brilliant in dialog and subtlety.

Black Sails is as close as you can get to perfect TV. No silly banter, no fake drama...Clear and concise dialog. Nuance and anticipation make for great watching!

Some people like to describe an episode in vivid detail but I believe that ruins the show...A review should be an opinion as to how much I personally enjoyed it or not...That being said...You can almost hear the tempo of the drum, moving along the series--

boom...boom boom

It's paced with our hearts...We all wait in anticipation of what we know will be a beautiful crescendo or; Nothing...:)...Both can be just as sublime...
