Frightening & Intense Scenes

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Early on in the film a woman answers a door dressed in only a suit jacket and unnecessarily exposes her breasts by proxy of movement which is gratuitously lingered upon for some time. After Shaft arrives and his parentage is revealed she gets the light back on her once more and says "I thought you pulled out on time, every time," referencing ejaculation. However, the scene and in fact the entire movie provides no male nudity for equal eye candy.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The main bad guy is a drug kingpin and the final showdown takes place as a drug deal takes place in his apartment.
