The implication is that the rival team is a ballet company. See more »

Sort of an Uneven Beginning to Season 2
31 January 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

Rodrigo continues to talk to Mozart. There is a planned trip to Mexico City where they must play in front of Rodrigo's mentor. Hailey continues to pursue her dream, but she has to make a living to keep getting oboe lessons to solidify her substitute position. To do this, she tries to train in a new assistant for the maestro. So I suppose there is going to be an ongoing focus on this particular concert. Rodrigo is taken with Hailey. They had kissed after the potentially disastrous opening concert, and it was noticed by the rest of the orchestra. Cynthia warns Hailey not to become the object of gossip. The other subplot has to do with a potential strike. Gloria and that big donor jerk pair off. But for its inconsistencies, it's still intriguing.
