An OKAY movie, not bad, not great either.
14 October 2018 | by BasicLogicSee all my reviews

Helena Bonham Carter tried very best to look like the person she played, but sometimes I just felt a bit annoyed by her exaggerations in almost every scene. Hilary Swank also did a fare job, but her abnormally long earrings were not just a digression but also quite inappropriate for such a serious character she played. Her boyfriend was a very weak cast, a doctor? Well, more like an unemployed guy; not too good.

The screenplay was a bit weak, the directing was okay but not great and, the editing? Not so good. The legal process and the courtroom scenes were also too weak without any tension whatsoever. This film, in general, is just another film with certain goodwill agenda.
