Storyline

Inspired by German Expressionist cinema of the early twentieth century, Yotlungerdal (2015) tells the tale of a young nightwatchman who on his first night on the job, falls asleep. Amidst his slumber, a mysterious creature creeps into his village and steals a baby. The nightwatchman leads a search party of villagers in a madcap midnight quest to retrieve the infant, lest the child never be heard from again.
