Having suffered with psychosis for twenty years, Eddie is on advanced trials for a new drug called Ceresia. Near FDA approval, his progress breaks down as a new romance begins to invoke memories of his mother's fatal accident.
There is some good acting in this movie and the settings are really beautiful. The story is really slow, though. It has a good premise where the lead character descends into madness as a result of a clinical trial that goes badly. However, the lead is not very menacing. He has the upper hand through surprise, but does not really exude horror, menace or thrills.
Mostly, it is a character acting angry and another acting frustrated and scared for 90 minutes.
Not terrible, but not great.
