Kate, a workaholic lawyer, has three weeks to get a haunted bed and breakfast appraised and sold. The uncooperative manager claims a spirit who lives there will not approve. With Kate's possible promotion resting on accomplishing this task, she checks in and haggles with the aforesaid Christmas spirit, who suspiciously seems awfully solid for a ghost.

When she first visits the inn, Kate walks up to an open front door with clear glass. When she steps inside, the windows in the doors are stained glass. This is because the stained glass doors are inside the entryway. You can see the outside doors briefly when Daniel enters the house at about 46 minutes in. See more
At the very beginning of the movie, Daniel looks at his pocket watch. The maker of the watch shows Charles-Hubert, Paris. That watch brand was started in 1990 and couldn't be in the time period Daniel was in at that point in the movie. See more
