- TriviaThis episode features President Ronald Reagan's famous "Evil Empire" speech toward what was then the Soviet Union on March 8, 1983.
- GoofsStratomatic Football changed the size of their cards starting with the 1982 season to the size shown in the episode. The cards would not have yet been available in March 1983.
Stan tells Henry that he (Stan) used to play Stratomatic with his son and that the game is somewhere in the basement, so it's clear that Stan has an older version of the game. Something is only anachronistic if it existed *after* the time period, not before. Plenty of people have old things that are no longer easily acquired.
- Quotes
Paige Jennings: I don't get how she could let you leave like that. Basically say goodbye forever. Would you let me do that?
Elizabeth Jennings: You would never have to do anything like that.

Strong finish to series 3
Paige continues to struggle with family life and Phillip takes some brutal steps to solve a problem.
Like so much of The Americans I can't say I enjoyed the episode, but appreciate how well crafted it is and admit to being thoroughly compelled by the events depicted from start to finish.
I won't mention story details not to spoil, but it's safe to say that Phillip, Elizabeth, Stan and especially Paige have their share of strong plot lines and character moments. Similar to the series 2 finale, it has the next series very much in mind with how it finishes on a scene that throws out another hook for audience to make sure they keep watching.
As ever, all cinematography, editing, writing and in particular the performances are superb. Holly Taylor, Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell and Frank Langella are all excellent.
