Caught fleeing the Baek Geonsu Piano Competition by Cha Yoo-jin after her run-in with her ex-teacher, the traumatized Seol Nae-il calms down enough to control herself and return, putting all her emotional "junk" into her performance, which leaves the judges conflicted over how to vote. With that behind her, Nae-il shifts focus into what to do with Yoo-jin. He's proven highly receptive to her hypnotizing him, which she tests with a post-hypnotic suggestion that leaves her conflicted: should she endeavor to alleviate his debilitating past traumas, allowing him to leave Korea (and her), or should she do nothing and keep him with her to continue their growing relationship, thereby stunting his professional growth? Meanwhile, as Il-rak makes a personal sacrifice for Shi-won, secret camera footage, publicly revealing the true behaviors within Rising Star, threatens to put an end to the academy orchestra.
