Portrays the connection of US Israel relations as well as ancient local culture.
31 May 2015 | by dlarguelloSee all my reviews

I enjoyed the series "Dig" because it portrayed what goes on in the US diplomatic connection with Israel in different forms: police investigation of a crime tied in to archaeological investigation, one of my most loved subjects. The religious oddities demonstrated were interesting because they were tied in to the crime but mostly because real or not they were a variety that I had no idea it existed. We think of Jews as being of one variety only but obviously that is not true...so for that matter it was educational...if the odd religion in fact exists. But the possibility is there. The crime committed in Israel causes you to travel to America and Eastern Europe which was a little confusing at the beginning...but later you get the hang of it and just go with it.
