Trama

Alex (Gavin Stenhouse) goes to Rome, Italy with a dangerous double mission -- slip away from the CIA/FBI task force to track and identify the contractor handling multi-million dollar payments for Black Dagger. Katya (Hope Davis) asks a friend to help her son in the field, and Alex is surprised to learn details of his mother's heroic past. Sam's (Kenneth Choi) attempt to buy a cache of SVR intel from a dangerous Italian broker is stalled when his cover is blown. Meanwhile, Victor (Morgan Spector) shows Natalie (Margarita Levieva) his contingency plan, and Alex's professional relationship with Michelle (Floriana Lima) gets very personal.

Alex is shocked to hear that his parents colluded with Victor to lay a false track sending his CIA team on a wild goose chase to Rome so he can inconspicuously follow the money trail to the Black dagger operator, but must agree, with a shabby crash course from them as solo field (double) agent. The CIA mission proves dangerous enough, notably for his mentor Sam Luttrell, who willingly accepts additional risks due to budget cuts requiring the use of counterfeit cash. A retired agent Fadi , whose life Katya once saved, proves invaluable for Alex. The food poison simulation to sneak off renders his secret mission painfully worse then feared, on top of a clever target he nearly oversaw completely.—KGF Vissers
