Storyline

Liz realizes that Jody is far more than the simple Southern country boy everyone assumes him to be. Althea talks with Nick about the troubled Powers marriage, but she doesn't appreciate his perception that American women have hangups about sex. Nick is speechless when Althea turns the tables to a discussion of female affairs and double standards. Liz and Jody attempt to make a point to Carolee about changing the world. Martha tracks down Nick at Ronny's restaurant and shares with him her clues to Ed's mystery. Nick and Martha ignore Althea's protests that Ed might not desire their interference.
