When the General is entering the room to speak to TAALR, the security system first asks him who he is and scans his body. It then asks him what he knows, and he recites a password. Finally, it asks him what he has, and he shows a Roman coin. This reflects the three main authentication concepts in Information Technology to grant access to secured systems: Who you are, what you know, and what you have. A common present-day analogue is the automatic teller machine, which uses two of the three concepts: what you have (the ATM card) and what you know (the personal identification number).

Goofs
JD Richter is supposed to have been working on his truck engine all night. When he shakes hands with Molly's son there is not a mark of oil or anything else on his hands.
