Trivia

In 2016, City if New Orleans cancelled their contracts with A&E, which were First 48 and Nightwatch. This decision came after the defense team in a triple capital homicide case attempted to accuse First 48 film makers of withholding footage that would have found the defendent not guilty. Even though the judge confessed that the defense's accusation was obviously a final attempt to turn the tide away from the prosecutio, she admitted she wished New Orleans did not contract with A&E. The City Commissioner claimed the shows had done their jobs and bettered community relations with EMS, and it was time to end the contract. See more »

I love this show

I look forward to watching the New Orleans crew. The comradery is amazing. The EMTs/paramedics are knowledgeable and caring. The police officers are outstanding and good looking too! Although we don't see a lot of the fire department in the most recent episodes they don't miss a beat either. I'm going to miss watching the New Orleans crew. The intros for the Tampa episodes look good, but I don't think it will be the same for me.
