[8.8] The girlfriend and the driver

A nice but mild finale wrapping things up happily for some and dramatically sad for others. I expected it to be more intense with a big cliffhanger, but that's OK, I have a feel that lots of drama would be cooked up in season 4.

Heartfelt congrats again to Tatiana Maslany for bringing all those amazing clones to ultra-believable life with her unsurpassed acting.

    An excellent season finale

"History" is another solid instalment, tying up some plot threads whilst leaving others to develop over the next season or two.

Alison Steadman is beautiful as Kendall Malone and I'm hoping we see more of her character in the future.

Season 3 has been a pleasing one. We've said "goodbye" to a future regulars whilst new faces have been introduced. The pacing has been fast and there's not been much, if any, unnecessary filler.

10 out of 10. I'm looking forward to seeing what surprises Season 4 will bring.

Jam-packed, but doesn't lose sight of the characters and emotions behind the twists and action.

Sarah and S bring the Castor/Lyda original back from England, and make a dangerous play. Alison enters the final leg of the campaign. Helena is part of an unexpected reunion. Delphine stumbles on something she shouldn't have. Rachel wonders where she is.

As you can see, this episode was absolutely PACKED. Yet, it didn't feel rushed. It was very well paced. The first three quarters of the episode were very intense, packed with action and twists. At first, I didn't buy the big twist. It seemed contrived, like there was no setup for it. But, as the episode chugged along, they really sold me on it.

Then, they did something very smart; they slowed down. If they had continued barrelling along at the pace they were, it would have been overwhelming. Instead, they took the last ten minutes to give emotional closure; happy (and sad) endings. And there were some sad endings. One in particular was painful. On the whole, a great way to end the season.

    • Goofs
When Felix kicks the door, they show the whole door falling straight down to floor. Then when they show it again, a couple seconds later, it's swinging back on the hinges.
    • Quotes

Felix Dawkins: You always think that I can't handle the tough stuff, but you know what, Sarah? This time, follow my lead, okay?

[he breaks the door down with one hard kick]

Felix Dawkins: Holy shite, that worked!

Sarah Manning: That was badass, Fe.

      Felix Dawkins: Thank you.
