Allie Heathcoat is a fine actress, who pulls you into this good story. The supporting cast is a little lame, but it doesn't distract from the direction by Wesley Pryor, which is excellent. Yes, he is definitely influenced by Hitchcock, but his directional skills are subliminal. The facial close ups are definitely De Mille like and overall, there is a sense of Coppola, in the intense artistic direction. I wish the writing and story were more compelling, but overall, a fine film.
