Det. Crawford and Nick investigate the murder of a woman that is covered in silver paint. David Phillips finds a trauma to the back of her head caused by a blunt force. In the autopsy, Dr. Robbins discovers that the girl was drowned in silver paint since her lungs are filled of silver paint; therefore, the blunt force trauma was not the cause of death. She is identified as Ava Montrose, who had a long list of arrests for burglary and drugs. Sara interviews Ava's mother and her boyfriend, and she does not know any suspect since her daughter had a promiscuous life with many boyfriends. Hodges finds that the paint is used in the auto painting industry and the glass found in her foot is from the headlight of a car fabricated before 1939. Ava's bruise is identified from a Packard. Soon Finn finds that there is only one car in Las Vegas that belongs to the investment banker Carlo Derosa. Finn and Sara meet the arrogant banker and he tells that Ava was his former girlfriend. He shows his collection of classic cars in a warehouse, and they meet his estranged brother Aron. Soon Finn finds where Ava was murdered and that a 1976 Cadilac is missing. The priceless car belonged to their father, a notorious mobster in Las Vegas that was murdered inside. Now they have to find evidence to discover who the killer is.
