Candy isn't always sweet!
26 September 2015 | by cxanaSee all my reviews

I was glued to Winterthorne from the opening sequence. I was in complete awe of it and I am sucker for good fonts so I really enjoyed the one that the creator picked for this show.

Mr. Michael Caruso continues on his massive successful hit in DeVanity on through Winterthorne. They are not the same type of show mind you but Winterthorne was just absolutely amazing. And like DeVanity, the acting, the cinematography, the music, the wardrobe, and the make-up were top notch. It was perfect execution on every single level imaginable.

Mr. Caruso turned the tables on this show though by having the women be the ones with power and boy did the ladies possess just that on this show. They could go toe to toe with any man.

Martha Madison, Linda Gray, Kathleen Kati, and Kirsten Storms were the perfect actresses for this show and they excelled in the scenes that they had. I was mesmerized in every single second that I watched them. They all portrayed very strong women and women that you could never take lightly. They all looked gorgeous and they acted the hell out of their scenes. All worth the price of admission which of course is free to watch Winterthorne like it was for DeVanity.

Michael Caruso, Josh Thrower, Gordon Thomson, Kevin Spirtas and John- Paul Lavoisier were the actors in this spectacular show. Every single one of them were awesome actors in Winterthorne. I couldn't get enough of any of them. I had never seen Josh Thrower before but he is someone to look out for. Mr. Caruso took his acting to whole new level with Winterthorne. There aren't enough adjectives to describe Gordon. And JP and Kevin were equally just as amazing.

I must advise to everyone that all four parts have to watched to understand the show as a whole but not a single soul would be disappointed with Winterthone in my opinion. They way the flashbacks were weaved into present day was brilliance. And watch more than once if you want. You find clues or things that you might have lost with the first viewing. The show is highly addictive just like Winterthorne's candy is.

So I hope anyone reading this will take a chance and start watching Winterthorne. Once you start, I think it will be hard for anyone to stop. I know the show will blow you all away.
