Storyline

A man struggling with the loss of his wife drowns himself in a bowl of peanuts at a bar, leaving his young daughter to be cared for by his sister. His daughter isn't about to give up on him though, and writes a letter to a peanut company that threatens to change the way he sees the world around him.
